WELLNESS CARE

Continued wellness care is important for all stages of your pet’s life. We’re here to make sure that they’re on track with preventive care through all stages of their life.

Your pet’s ongoing care matters.

One part of comprehensive preventative care is having a physical exam on a regular basis, no matter what age your pet may be. It’s simple and cost-effective. Detecting changes or signs of disease early on is the key to a healthy pet. A nose-to-tail examination by one of our veterinarians can identify problems before clinical signs are visible.

Pets age five to seven years for every one of ours, making semi-annual and yearly physicals even more necessary than our own. A lot can change in that amount of time. Therefore, we strongly recommend annual vaccinations and semi-annual wellness examinations for pets as they age. This ensures that your pet receives the best preventative medicine and that any problems with their health can be addressed early. Wellness exams include heartworm and internal parasite screening; our veterinarian may also recommend a blood profile, urinalysis, and electrocardiogram to monitor your loved one’s health.
