Pain Management
PAIN MANAGEMENT
When your pet isn’t feeling well, it can be a constant source of stress. In fact, you may not even know they’re hurting. We can help diagnose and treat their pain.
Is your pet in pain?
Pain management is not an option — it’s imperative. Pets are masters of disguise, and their natural instinct is to hide signs of pain. So once the clinical signs are visible, we know that the pet is in pain and uncomfortable. At VMC, we believe that pain is best addressed with multiple approaches. We offer traditional therapies, such as anti-inflammatories medications, and alternative therapies, such as acupuncture. Every patient that undergoes a procedure requiring sedation/general anesthesia is provided with pain control here and to go home. VMC doctors and staff take all necessary steps to relieve any pain before, during, and after your pet’s surgical procedure. With proper pain control for all surgeries, your pet will heal faster.
