The first step is a 60-minute comprehensive mobility consultation with Dr. Julie Reck. She will discuss your pet’s day-to-day activities and limitations that you have noticed. She will then perform a full-body examination along with video gait analysis and measurement of each joint’s range of motion. X-rays are commonly recommended at this stage to gain a better understanding of the stage of arthritis or joint disease present and confirming which joints are affected. Dr. Reck will fully explain any joint disease present in your pet and review a variety of long-term solutions that can either prevent further joint disease or treat concerns that are already present.
