END OF LIFE CARE
We’re there when you need us most.
When end of life care is needed you can count on the veterinary professionals at VMC to be committed to making sure that you and your pet experience a peaceful goodbye. The ambiance of the room and soft classical music playing will help set the stage for a relaxing experience. Our staff will offer a tray of delicious food for any of our patients that would like to indulge. We then provide sedation that helps pets rest and transition before administering the final injection. We partner with Faithful Companion for a variety of aftercare options. Click here to learn more.
We also offer in-home euthanasia (currently limited to SC residents).
Our veterinarians understand that there is no place like home when it comes to saying goodbye. When our long term patients reach a point where end of life care is needed our doctors and support staff are available for home euthanasia appointments. Ideally, a week’s notice for scheduling purposes allows us to facilitate a home goodbye for you and your pet. We partner with Faithful Companion for aftercare options. Our facility and veterinarians are located in South Carolina and maintain licenses to practice in this state, due to licensing restrictions our veterinarians are unable to offer home euthanasia to North Carolina residences
